The place to go for individuals wishing to learn about Music and Media. Our facilities include a fully soundproofed Recording Studio, Practice Room, IT Training Suite and Piano/Keyboard School. Currently our premises are divided into 3 very seperate areas, they are: 1. GotoAndLearn (uk) {}© - The IT Training / Media Experimentation suite. 2. Deceptive Resolution - The Recording Studio or Practice Rooms. 3. HCOS - Piano, Keyboard and Organ Tuition. If you want to Learn IT (Information Technology), we have a dedicated room where you can learn a variety of technologies. At present we cover Macromedia Flash 8 Professional, Actionscript 1.0/2.0, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, ASP and ASP.NET, Javascript, XML and CSS and other programs like MS Visual Studio (c#), Adobe Photoshop CS, Sony Sound Forge 7 or Sony Acid Pro 5. In the Recording Studio we offer our services and facilities to help musicians finalize ideas, record demos and practice for gigs. We also offer music technology training for individuals or groups and have a room specifically designed for drumming practice. You may be wondering exactly what we will build using Flash 8 in our intermediate and advanced classes, so here's some examples: MP3 Player - includes XML and ASP. Interactive Photo Gallery - includes XML and ASP.NET. Birthday Reminder - includes XML. Online Quiz - includes Access and ASP. Video Jukebox - includes XML and PHP. Bandwidth Detector - includes PHP. Photo Sequence Builder - includes AS Classes and OOP. Drag And Drop Shop - includes AS Classes and OOP. Online Polll - includes Access and ASP. Text Effect Builder - includes AS component creation, There will also be a Component Master Class which will focus on the component architecture and what's possible with each indivdual component. A new component will be covered every couple of weeks.
